Kristin Skiba is excited to begin working as an intern for The Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2009 with a BA in Psychology. Her interest in becoming a counselor developed while working as a swim coach for children and adolescents. In 2011, Kristin enrolled in Roosevelt University’s Clinical Professional Psychology Master’s degree program. For many years, Kristin was a student athlete swimming competitively. Over this time, she realized the importance of a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Kristin strongly believes in the holistic approach and incorporating different aspects in counseling to achieve a higher quality of life. She hopes to help clients find their own balance of the mind, body and spirit.
