Dr. Ray Kadkhodaian

Dr. Ray grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and attended Creighton University, in Omaha, NE., where he received his BA in Psychology.

After graduation, he moved back to Chicago and obtained his Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. His experience in mental health is extensive, encompassing inpatient, outpatient and community mental health settings, having worked for facilities such as Kenneth Young Center, Forest Hospital, Westlake Hospital, Linden Oaks Hospital, Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, Northwest Mental Health Center, and Gateway Foundation.

He attended the International Coach Academy, and has certifications in coaching, alcohol & drug counseling, group crisis intervention and Reiki. He is trained in biofeedback, hypnotherapy and Level I Gottman Marital Therapy. In October 2011, Ray graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University in Schaumburg.

Dr. Ray enjoys working with those struggling with addictions, Men’s issues, as well as working with couples in conjunction with his wife, Jean. The two of them founded The Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center in 2002, having developed their own unique approach in working with couples. Since then, the company has expanded and developed its programming to assist a wide variety of populations, and serves the Greater Chicagoland area.
