Jean Kadkhodaian, MA, CH, Rev.

Jean grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. She proudly served her country for 13 years as a combat military policewoman in the Army Reserves.

After receiving her BA in Psychology, she entered the field of mental health in which she remained for 10 years, having worked in crisis, community mental health, and residential settings. Her work with adults, children and families added to her accumulated experience.

She attended Roosevelt University’s Masters program in Clinical Psychology, is certified as a hypnotherapist, and is a Reiki Master Teacher, in addition to having a Reverend certification.

She co-founded The Lighthouse with her husband, Ray Kadkhodaian, in 2002. Jean enjoys working with individuals struggling with their own personal growth and spiritual direction, as well as with couples in conjunction with her husband. The two of them founded The Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center in 2002, having developed their own unique approach in working with couples. Since then, the company has expanded and developed its programming to assist a wide variety of populations, and serves the Greater Chicagoland area.
