
Michelle Hyman, LCSW
Michelle (Missy) is a graduate from St. Mary College, Notre Dame, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on Western Michigan University and graduated in 2000 with a Masters degree in Social Work. She initially worked with children and adolescents at a youth services facility. Deciding to move back to Illinois, where she is from, she worked as a lead women’s counselor at a chemical dependency residential and outpatient facility. Michelle obtained her Clinical License in Social Work in 2003 and began working with adults and adolescents at a mental health outpatient facility as an individual therapist. Honing her clinical diagnosing skills, she has performed crisis intervention assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Michelle specializes in working with adults and adolescents. Her strengths range from treating those who struggle with adjusting to life changes and the stresses that can be involved, to treating those with depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, and self-injury.
